About Dr. Reznick
Dr. Jay Reznick is the Founder of the Southern California Center for Oral & Facial Surgery in 2008, and has been in practice in the Encino-Tarzana area since 1992.
Dr. Reznick grew up in Studio City and received his undergraduate degree in biology from the University of California-Berkeley and his dental degree from Tufts University in Boston. He earned an M.D. from the University of Southern California and did his internship in general surgery at Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena, California. He trained in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Los Angeles County/ USC Medical Center.
Dr. Reznick was among the first doctors to adopt fully-guided, prosthetically-based implant surgery. As the first specialist in the United States to implement 3D imaging and computer-aided design and manufacturing of dental restorations, he has immense experience utilizing these state-of-the-art treatment modalities.
With extensive publications in professional dental and medical literature, he founded the educational website OnlineOralSurgery.com. He frequently lectures at dental meetings and conferences and provides live training courses on dental implants and 3D technology to dentists all over the world.
Dr. Reznick serves as a consultant to several manufacturers of dental and surgical instruments and equipment. He’s the Director of the Southern California Center for Oral & Facial Surgery.
Dr. Reznick is affiliated with Providence Tarzana Medical. He’s also a member of numerous dental and medical associations, including the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the California Medical Association, and the American Dental Association.
