
About Dr. Maranon
Dr. Maranon is a board certified maxillofacial surgeon and has been practicing his specialty in the San Fernando Valley since 1993. He earned his bachelor’s degree from UCLA and dental degree from the UCLA School of Dentistry.
Oral and maxillofacial surgery requires additional hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training after graduation from dental school. Dr. Maranon completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at the Westchester County Medical Center and served as Chief resident in 1991. In addition, he went on to earn his medical degree from New York Medical College in 1993. Dr. Maranon is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He manages a wide variety of conditions relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions.

Dr. Maranon has expertise in techniques designed to rebuild bone structure with minimal surgical intervention and optimal patient comfort. He can also diagnose and treat oral pathology, facial pain, and traumatic facial injuries and fractures.
